Every move is tailored to the individual requirements of the client. The quotation is based on the quantity of belongings that need to be moved, the size and type of vehicles, where you are moving from and to, and any special requirements such as packing services or storage. Everything is included in the quotation, there are no hidden extras. Because we do a full survey of your requirements, the figures we give you are accurate quotations, not estimates. Alternatively, you can complete an online quotation for a speedy response.

A 50% deposit is payable once the quotation has been accepted, and the balance should be paid in full seven days before the move. We accept all major cards and bank transfers are also acceptable.

It’s normally two weeks between exchange and completion. We do advise, however, arranging for our surveyor to call at your earliest convenience to ensure everything is in place so that, when you do get a date of completion, we are just a phone call away. We also advise booking your removal as early as possible to guarantee getting booked in on your preferred dates.

We will book a pre-move survey at any time to suit you. We regularly see clients in the evenings, before they go to work or on Saturdays.

Although our office may be closed outside normal hours, our vehicles and staff work 7 days a week, 24 hours a day when necessary.

Yes! Packing services may actually not be as expensive as you think and can be hugely valuable in saving you time and stress when you move house.

We can pack everything for you or just some of your belongings (like your fragile items) if you prefer to do some of your packing yourselves. If we’re providing a packing service we’ll bring all the boxes along on the day and you can just leave everything where it is, if you’re doing any of your own packing we can include advance delivery of boxes for you in our quote.

Many people nowadays require long- or short-term storage. Whether you are travelling abroad or require storage between your sale/purchase we can cater for all your needs. Our storage facilities are secure, heated and dry. We can offer discounted rates on long-term storage.

Soft furnished items like sofas and mattresses will be protected from dust and dirt using poly bags.

We’ve got a range. We use our 3.5 ton vans for houses with tight access. We also have our standard 7.5 ton lorries which we find suits most average 3-bedroom house moves. Our vehicles are also custom designed for Removals and Storage and carry equipment like electronic tail lifts and ramps for efficient loading, timber tie rails to secure large furniture items for transport and air ride suspension to reduce movement and protect our precious load.

Yes, standard removal cover is up to £50,000, although the insurance cover can be extended if required.

In the unlikely event of this happening, all claims are dealt with efficiently and amicably.

No, all our well-trained staff have strict codes of conduct in respect of behaviour and dress which includes not smoking while working or in their vehicles.We also have a non-smoking crew available.

We supply a whole range of protective equipment including various-sized boxes, garment carriers, tape, bubble wrap and packing paper. Any special requirements are attended to. Packing Shop

Depending on the size of the move and how much there is to pack we would normally start a day or two before your move day in order to give us enough time to make sure it is all packed and ready to load on move day.

Yes, everything is moved from a room to room basis. Don’t forget to label your boxes if you have self packed. Packing Services
